New York State could owe you money
Do you think you are owed some of the state’s $9.9-billion in unclaimed funds?
State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli said, "New York has $9.9 billion in unclaimed fund accounts. We want to return this money to its rightful owners. The money belongs to New Yorkers. We want to give it back."
There are three ways to check for unclaimed funds:
1. Visit www.osc.state.ny.us
2. Call toll free at 1-800-221-9311
3. Go to the Rochester Riverside Convention Center (123 East Main Street) on December 8 between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. or December 9 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
