Survey ranks "happiest" states
Which would make you happier: sunny Florida or snow-covered Minnesota? It may be where you live now, in New York State.
Researchers from around the country did a wide-ranging survey, and it ranked the 50 states and Washington, D.C. in terms of happiness. They took weather, income, home values and education levels into consideration.
New York is dead last coming in at 51. That means it is the unhappiest state in the country to live in. New Jersey, Connecticut and California were also at the bottom of the list.
The happiest states are Louisiana at number one, followed by Hawaii, Florida, Tennessee and Arizona.
