Mendon man killed in Victor crash

An 86-year-old Mendon man was killed in a two-car crash in the town of Victor Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the crash happened on State Route 96 and County Route 42 just before 4:00 p.m.
Officers say Joseph Carra, the passenger in a vehicle headed north on Route 96, was killed when the vehicle attempted a left turn on to County Route 42 and was struck by another vehicle headed south. The driver of his vehicle, his wife Clara was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, 46-year-old John Clement of Bloomfield, was also taken to Strong with minor injuries.
The incident was investigated by State Police in Canandaigua.
