Wegmans facility evacuated after hazmat situation

The Wegmans facility on Market Street in Chili was evacuated Thursday afternoon due to a hazmat situation there.
Sheriff’s deputies tell News10NBC that the hazmat situation is a level zero, the least dangerous level. Officials believe a cleaning solution may be spilled, prompting the alarm. The alert has since been canceled.
One employee was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
