Big name actress stops by Wilson Magnet High School

A big name actress made a stop at a high school in Rochester today.

Amber Riley also known as Mercedes Jones from the TV show "Glee" is at Wilson Magnet High School.

The students at Wilson won the Verizon Wireless Black History Month contest, beating out more than 1,000 other schools in the northeast by racking up the most votes online.

Riley is speaking to students throughout the day, talking about the importance of education and following their dreams. “If I can just tell my story or just say one thing to help someone, I think that that's what I have this job for.”

Verizon also transformed the gym at Wilson Magnet into a technology exhibit, focusing on education and mobile learning.
