Tour de Cure rides through Rochester this weekend

24-million Americans have diabetes and this weekend, thousands of people in Rochester will be riding their bikes to find a cure.

The 21st annual Tour de Cure starts Sunday at RIT. More than 2,000 riders are participating and they hope to raise $850,000.

Colin Clifford is the youth ambassador for the American Diabetes Association of Rochester. He and his team hope to raise $3,000 dollars this weekend.

He'll also be one of this year's Red Riders- riders with diabetes.

Rochester's Tour de Cure was the 7th largest in the country last year.

Corporate donors, like Constellation Brands, have alreday pledged thousands this year.
