Rochester Police ID two men shot on North Clinton Avenue

News10NBCRochester Police have identified the two men shot on North Clinton Avenue early Sunday morning.

Rochester Police were called to the 1100 block of North Clinton Avenue just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of a man shot. Police found 38-year-old Willie Wells, of Buffalo lying in the street with several gunshot wounds to his upper and lower torso.

Police say a second victim, 21-year-old Shymear Andrews, of Rochester, was found lying in the street at North Clinton and Avenue D.

Both were taken to Strong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Wells is in satisfactory condition and Andrews has been released from the hospital.

There are no suspects in custody at this and the investigation is continuing.
