Kodak files motion to auction patents

Kodak is asking permission to start the auction for its patents on digital imaging.
It hopes to sell the patents in the next two months, potentially making hundreds of millions of dollars.
Kodak filed a motion in bankruptcy court today, asking the judge to approve the bidding procedures. It wants to let bidders remain anonymous and start the budding in early August, with winners announced by August 13th.
The judge will issue a ruling on July 2nd.
