The rain on Tuesday make it pretty easy for the shovels to dig in at the groundbreaking of a new academic building at St. John Fisher College.
The building will be the Victor E. Salerno Center for American Enterprise.
Members of the Salerno family, Fisher's president Dr. Donald Bain and the Board of Trustees were among those who took part. The new building will house the Bittner School of Business.
"It will be truly a hub for business education on campus and in the community. One of the things we've talked about for a long time is about having a real mock trading floor, a real time high tech links to international exchange. It will be miniaturized but a highly usable stock exchange a trading floor digital signage an led ticker that streams data it's going to be a buzzing place," says Dr. Bain.
The new building is located where the old Botsford Dance School stood.
