nullThe City of Rochester has proclaimed June 23  "Felicia Zimmermann Day" after the two-time Olympic fencer.

Felicia Zimmermann of Rush was honored by the Mayor's office for her career achievements and involvement in the community. The Hall of Fame fencer was presented a proclamation from the Mayor's Office in front of members of the Rochester fencing club, which Felicia and her sister Iris now own.

The sisters grew up training at the club and decided to purchase it in attempts to help young people develop their fencing skills.
