Faculty, staff and proud parents celebrated the first ever graduating class of Rochester's Hope Hall.
The graduates made up of four girls and four boys have all earned regents credits and will be going on to college.
Hope Hall is a non profit that helps students with special learning needs.
Dorothy Pecoralo is a member of the board of trustees and says today's ceremony is history in the making.
"Oh it has not been an easy road. Getting the building when we first started, adding on to have a high school, believing in a mission and vision that says the children can learn and can succeed."
Hope Hall was founded in 1994 and serves students in grades three through 12.
