Police ID man shot and killed on Carl Street

Rochester Police have released the name of the man who was shot and killed on Carl Street around 8 p.m. Thursday night.
Police say a 24-year-old James Florence was lying in the street when they responded to shots fired and a man down. Florence was taken to Rochester General Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after police had arrived.
There are no suspects in custody and police are investigating.
