Caffeine and strong muscles

A caffeine boost may help elderly adults keep their muscles strong.
Researches at Coventry University studied the effects of caffeine on muscle samples taken from mice. They found caffeine helped the muscles produce more force. It was less effective in elderly muscle tissue -- but it still had an impact -- which experts say could be the key to boosting strength in an elderly population.
The study also showed caffeine had no impact on juvenile muscles, which means it may not work on developing tissue.
