Experts have advice to keep your furry friends from getting spooked during all the Fourth of July festivities.
According to the SPCA, you should not bring your dog to firework displays. Experts say the loud noise can make dogs very uncomfortable. Panicky animals can be more easily soothed if kept inside, in familiar territory. Even keeping a light on can help pets feel more secure.
Experts also recommend getting your pet micro-chipped or at least wearing a collar with tag in case they run away because of the loud noises.
