Fire on Winterroth Street

Rochester Firefighters are trying to figure out what caused an early morning fire on Winterroth Street.

Crews responded to the house on Winterroth Street just before 2 a.m. Wednesday after receiving reports of heavy smoke in the area.

Firefighters say the fire was contained mostly to the second floor and attic. It took crews about a half hour to put out the flames.

Nobody was home when the fire broke out.
