Standoff ends on Fifth Street

Rochester Police have arrested a man after an early morning standoff Wednesday.

The standoff started around 12:00a.m. when 911 was called for shot fired on Fifth Street. Police surrounded a house because of a man with a gun who wouldn't come out.

The standoff ended around 4:00a.m. and a 43-year-old man was arrested without incident.

Fifth Street is back open.
