Music, alcohol and plenty of people. This summer's second East End Fest is Friday night and it could be one of the last ones if an issue between organizers and business owners is not resolved. It has to do with the gate that surrounds the festival site.
Businesses say it prevents customers from getting to retail stores and restaurants in the area without paying the festival admission first.
Festival organizers say the gates are necessary to control the crowds, ID everyone and keep intoxicated people out. The admission also helps pay for the bands.
East End Fest starts at 5 p.m.
