Florida man charged with home invasion and sexual assault in Waterloo

nullPolice in Waterloo have arrested a man on charges connected to a home invasion and sexual assault.

43-year-old Michael Foulkrod, of Florida, is charged with burglary, criminal possession of a weapon, sex abuse and unlawful imprisonment.

Waterloo Police say around 2:30a.m. Thursday, Foulkrod broke into a home on West Main Street and awoke a person inside with two knifes. Police say Foulkrod held the person down and had sexual contact with the victim. Following a short struggle, the victim was able to runaway.

Police found Foulkrod later in Seneca Falls. He is being held in Seneca County Jail on no bail.
