Future Olympic uniforms to be made in U.S.

The recent outrage over Chinese-made U.S. Olympic uniforms has prompted designer Ralph Lauren to say that the uniforms for 2014 Olympic Games will be American made.

The company, and the Olympic Committee have both taken a lot of heat in recent days from both citizens and politicians. Senator Harry Reid said that the Olympic Committee should "be ashamed of themselves."

Senator Chuck Schumer joined Reid, suggesting that the current uniforms should be abandoned and that Rochester-based Hickey Freeman should instead be allowed to make the uniforms.

Freeman believes that if given the opportunity, they would be able to recreate the uniforms in time for the opening ceremonies.
