Hybrid sales surge

Sales of hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles are surging, according to USA Today.  
 
The paper cites Kelley Blue Book statistics showing a sales jump of more than 164-percent last month.
 
The Toyota Prius tripled its sales compared to June of last year, Chevy's Volt doubled sales and sales of the Lexus CT200H increased about 500-percent year for year.
 
The love doesn't spread to all such vehicles. Sales fell for the Honda Insight and Nissan Leaf.
