Saturday’s Occupy Rochester march lead to 18 protesters being arrested. Following the arrest, police say groups of protest supporters began to gather outside the Monroe County Jail waiting for arrested marchers to be released. Police say the crowd was mostly around the Jail Records lobby.

This morning, officers say they found graffiti on the sidewalk where the supporters had gathered along with on the walls of the jail, and even across the road on an overpass. Police say most of the graffiti was written in chalk, but some was spray painted.

Police also say the most of the content of graffiti was "disparaging and derogatory" statements and accusations regarding officers and the jail.
