Mental health disorders increase the risk of death even if they are considered mild according to a new English study.
Researchers at University College London analyzed surveys filled out by nearly 70,000 adults between 1994 and 2004. Those who reported high levels of psychological distress had higher death rates.
Even those with mild conditions -- like anxiety and depression -- faced an increased risk for death.
