Friday, a courtroom at the State Court of Claims, in downtown Rochester, was dedicated in honor of Judge Donald Corbett Junior. Family, friends, and colleagues gather to remember and honor the judge who died two years ago after a four year struggle with Parkinson's Disease.
The dedication will leave a lasting memory for the man whom made an impact on his fellow judges.
"As a trial judge he was very fair," says Judge Richard Sise. "He had a keen intellect, and a wonderful, warm sense of humor. All the ingredients a trial judge must have to succeed. He was a wonderful success."
Aside from the dedication, their will also be a portrait of Judge Corbett placed inside the courtroom.
