nullThe Rochester Genesee Regional Transit Authority is getting some upgrades. The Authority will receive more than 3.5 million dollars in federal funding to help renovate it buildings. Officials say that the Administrative and Operations facilities will undergo changes.

Officials also say it will improve efficiency and reduce operating cost. The RGRTA manages the RTS bus line that serves much of Rochester and the surrounding areas.

Representative Kathy Hochul, who announced the funding, says "These changes will help improve efficiency, reduce operating costs, develop the livability of the surrounding neighborhood, and support the City of Rochester's environmental sustainability efforts."
