nullThe U.S. Attorney's Office says that a Chili man has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

Prosecutors say 28-year-old Steven Niles was identified by federal agents during an undercover child pornography investigation. Investigators say they then found evidence of child pornography on devices found at Niles's home on Battle Green Drive in Chili. Officials say they found over 12,000 images of minors on those devices.

Niles is scheduled to be sentenced on November 16. His charge could carry as many as 10 years in prison, a fine of $250,000, and supervised release for the rest of his life.
