A Wolcott man is under arrest after officials say he was growing marijuana plants on his property.
The Wayne County Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested 41-year-old Kevin D. McMahon after they say he had 35 marijuana plants growing on his property on Broadway Road. The plants were seized during a flyover in the area in July.
McMahon was charged with third-degree possession of marijuana, a felony, and unlawful growing, a misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to Wolcott Town Court in October.
