Fire breaks out at home in Greece; no injuries reported

nullFire broke out at a home in Greece on Saturday evening.

Firefighters were called to the house on Mandarin Drive around 8.30 p.m.

Investigators tell News10NBC a pan that was left on the stove caused the fire.

The house does have working smoke detectors and the only person in the house at the time was able to get out safely.

News10NBC is told the kitchen has an extensive fire damage and the rest of the house was damaged by smoke.

The resident is staying with family tonight.

There were no injuries reported.
