Sheriff's Deputies say an arrest has been made in connection with the death of a female student at the College at Brockport.
Sheriff's Deputies say 21-year-old Clayton Whittemore is being charged with second-degree murder. Deputies tell News10NBC he was picked up at a rest stop in the town of DeWitt. Whittemore will be arraigned in Sweden Town Court.

Campus Police say the victim suffered severe upper body trauma. They also say the victim and Whittemore were dating.
College officials say the school's Counseling Center in Hazen Hall will be open until 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday for any student, staff or faculty.
News10NBC will have the latest information as it's released.
