Sahlen's Stadium now has suitable locket room facilities for this year's sectional games, and as a result, state semi-finals will return to Rochester in November. The games had been moved to Syracuse after teams in Section III complained about not having proper facilities.
Crews worked Thursday getting ready for the weekend. The goal posts still have to go up and jumbotron has to have proper signage.
The class A semi-finals begin Friday night with number one Eastridge taking on five-seed McQuaid, and then in the later game it's undefeated Brockport against six-seed Canandaigua.
Games continue Saturday and Sunday.
Section V coordinator Dick Cerone says the locker rooms are a big improvement, and space for all the teams is needed.
The $450,000 locker room project was the last piece of the construction package for the stadium that opened six years ago.
