Woman shot twice inside her home on Lexington Avenue

A 22-year-old woman was shot twice Friday night while police say she was sitting inside a home.

Officers were called to Lexington Avenue near Rainier Street just before 8pm. Police at the scene say the woman was inside the home with four other adults and an infant when someone started shooting into the home from outside.

According to investigators, the woman was hit in the lower body. They say her injuries are not life threatening. Police say they have no suspects in custody at this point.
