Research in Motion set to launch phone with new operating system

Research in Motion has announced it will launch the first smartphone using BlackBerry 10 -- the next version of its operating system.
 
RIM says it will launch two BlackBerry 10 smartphones on January 30. The devices will be touchscreen only but the company has not offered any other details.
 
The new phones have been tested by more than 50 carriers around the world.
