Funeral service held for Spc. Ryan Jayne killed in Afghanistan

Funeral services were held today for an army reservist from Corning killed in a roadside bomb attack in Afghanistan last week.
The service was held, at the East Corning High School, for 22-year-old Ryan Jayne. He was one of 3 New York State reservists killed November 3rd, while conducting route clearing duties.
Combat engineers Brett Gornewicz of Alden, and Staff Sgt. Dain Venne of Port Henry were buried earlier this week.
They were members of the Watertown-based 479th Engineering Battalion of the 411th Engineering Brigade in New Windsor.
