RIM adding free wi-fi to BlackBerry Messenger

Good news for BlackBerry users looking for free wi-fi – Research in Motion has announced it's adding the feature to BlackBerry Messenger.
 
Users will be able to switch back and forth from a text chat to a voice call and a split-screen option will let users talk and text at the same time.
 
The new feature is a free update for existing customers.
