Three people had to be rescued from a pick-up truck after it crashed and flipped on its side in Naples Friday morning.
The accident happened on Route 53 near Reservoir Road around 8:10am.
Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies say 63-year-old Maria Brown, of Naples, was driving a Dodge Dakota north on Route 53 when a deer ran out into the road. The truck went off the road, hit a culvert on the side of the road and flipped on its side.
Brown and her two passengers were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be rescued using the jaws of life.
Maria and her front seat passenger, 79-year-old George Brown Sr. were taken to Strong Hospital by ambulance. Maria suffered abdominal and back injuries. George Sr. suffered a head laceration. Sheriff's Deputies say both were wearing seatbelts.
58-year-old George Brown Jr. was flown to Strong Hospital by Mercy Flight. Sheriff's Deputies say George Jr., who was sitting in the back seat, was not wearing his seat belt. He suffered a broken pelvis.
No tickets have been issued.
