Route 98 lift bridge reopens in Albion

The Route 98 lift bridge over the Erie Canal in the village of Albion reopened Monday.

The bridge was closed on November 8 when inspections revealed that the bridge could no longer safely carry traffic.   

The bridge is open with a 9 ton weight posting until more testing and analysis can be completed.
