Could a happier childhood mean a wealthier adulthood?

A happier childhood could translate into a wealthier adulthood.
British researchers found that adults who were unhappy teenagers had incomes that were 30-percent below average. On the other hand, those who were very happy as kids had incomes ten-percent higher than average.
It's not clear if inheriting money -- or marrying a wealthy spouse -- factored into these findings and while there's no definite link between happiness and wealth, researchers say their data suggest the value of creating happy environments for children.
