Salvation Army encouraging people to volunteer

The Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign is kicking off it's biggest donation weekend.

This year, the the Salvation Army wants you to do more than donate your extra change. Starting Friday, they are recruiting volunteers.

The charity has set a goal of 10,000 volunteers.

Members of the Salvation Army Advisory Board will be ringing bells on Friday in front of Eastman Theatre on Gibbs Street in Rochester.

On Saturday, members of Rochester's Little League will step up to the plate and ring bells at Eastview Mall.
