"Memphis" opens in Rochester

A crowd at the Rochester Auditorium Theatre went back to the fifties and into the underground dance clubs in “Memphis.”

The Broadway musical opened in Rochester Tuesday night. It's the story of a radio DJ who wants to change the world and a club singer who is ready for her big break.

Memphis” runs until this Sunday.
