Habitat for Humanity held an event in Rochester's Josana neighborhood on Saturday to honor the memory of Brian Kimble.

Kimble was murdered in 2004 and News10NBC has learned he was very active with Habitat for Humanity.
Since his death his family and friends have committed to working with the organization in his memory. On Saturday they were working on a home on Brown Street.

Along with a day of volunteering the Kimble family holds fundraisers year round for the Brian Kimble Build Fund, which raises money for the Flower City Habitat for Humanity.
