Rochester woman pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder

A Rochester woman has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the stabbing death of her boyfriend.

Police say Tanisha Davis, stabbed and killed her boyfriend, 35-year-old Montreall Wright in November. Officers found Wright inside a home on Sawyer Street.

Family members tell us the two were dating and had just moved in together.

Rochester Police say they've responded to domestic violence calls involving the couple in the past.

Davis is being held without bail in the Monroe County Jail and is due back in court on January 23.
