Crash involving two tractor-trailers slows traffic on Thruway

There was a big slowdown Tuesday morning on the Thruway in Pittsford after a crash involving two tractor-trailers and a pickup truck.

State Police say the crash happened at around 6:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the thruway between exit 46 in Henrietta and 45 in Victor.

Investigators tell us the two tractor-trailers sideswiped each other and the impact caused the cargo to fall out. A pickup truck hit some of the debris that ended up on the roadway.

Officials had to close off one of those eastbound lanes while crews cleaned up the scene.

No one was hurt in the crash.
