Voters in East Irondequoit say yes to replacing buses and establishing capital reserve fund

Voters in East Irondequoit School District said yes to replacing the fleet of 80 buses in the next five to seven years as well as establishing a capital reserve fund for future projects.

631 residents voted yes while 375 residents voted no on replacing the buses. 621 residents voted yes on establishing a capital reserve fund while 386 residents voted no.

The district says there will be no tax increase.
