A 34-year-old Seneca Falls man has been arrested following an investigation into the theft of heavy equipment parts from private property in the Town of Arcadia, Wayne County.
Frank Barner is charged with third-degree grand larceny.
Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies say Barner and accomplices stole miscellaneous bulldozer parts and other heavy equipment parts off of private property back in July 2012 and then sold those parts at ALPCO recycling in Macedon. Investigators say some of the parts were recovered and are valued at more than $10,000.
Barner was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
The investigation is ongoing and deputies say more arrests are expected.
