Gold medalist Jenn Suhr conducts the RPO

It’s a big night for music in downtown Rochester.

Thursday night is the gala opening of the RPO’s Holiday POPs concert series and the guest conductor is local Olympic gold medalist Jenn Suhr.

She won gold in the pole vault at the London games over the summer. Suhr will make a special appearance on stage during Thursday’s concert. It will feature holiday classics and the festival high school chorale.

Tickets can be purchased at all Wegmans locations and at the RPO Box Office.
