Update: Authorities locate Level 3 sex offender

A Level 3 sex offender, accused of removing his GPS monitor, is back in custody.

Rochester police sent out a tweet around 8:15 a.m. Thursday that James Snyder has been caught.

On Wednesday, parole officers and police asked for the public’s help to find the 46 year old.
