Travel advisory lifted for Yates County

The travel advisory that was in effect for Yates County has been lifted.

The Yates County Sheriff's Department had issued a travel advisory for the county earlier on Saturday.

Sheriff Ronald Spike had urged drivers in Yates County to avoid any unnecessary travel until the storm finished. Deputies said blowing and drifting snow, along with white out conditions were causing tough travel conditions throughout the county.
