A person had to be rescued from a burning home on Saint Paul Street near Norton Street Wednesday morning.
Rochester firefighters were called to the home just before 5:30am. When firefighters arrived, huge flames were shooting from the roof. There are three apartments in the house.
One resident had to be rescued from the first floor. No one was hurt, but an RTS bus was brought in because of the cold. No word yet on what caused the fire.
