Deputies: Rochester woman attacked nurse at Clifton Springs Hospital

A 56-year-old Rochester woman is facing charges after sheriff's deputies say she attacked a nurse in the Emergency Department at Clifton Springs Hospital.

Darlene Olive Smith is charged with criminal mischief and harassment.

Sheriff's Deputies say Smith attacked a male nurse while being discharged as a patient, causing scratches to his wrists and ripping his shirt.

Smith was sent to the Ontario County Jail on pre-arraignment detention.
