Power restored to more than 10,000 customers in Monroe County

Rochester Gas and Electric say power to more than 10,000 customers in Monroe County has been fully restored.

They say the outage happened around 5:40 p.m. Monday due to equipment failure near a substation in the southeast part of Monroe County.

More than 5,000 customers in Pittsford, 2,600 in Perinton and 1,300 in Mendon were without power.
