NYPD officers shot, wounded in separate incidents

Officials say two New York Police Department officers has been shot and wounded in separate shooting incidents in the Bronx and Brooklyn.
    
Police say in the Bronx, an off-duty officer was shot in the leg Thursday evening and has been taken to the hospital. The circumstances of the shooting are unclear.
    
The Brooklyn incident took place around 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Fort Hamilton Parkway stop on the N subway line.
    
Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokeswoman Deirdre Parker says an officer was shot, along with a suspect. The officer was taken to the hospital. His condition and the circumstances have not been released.
    
It was unclear what condition the suspect is in.
